Al Forno Italian Restaurant located on Anzac Street in Takapuna, near the movie theatres and only a short walk from the beach.

Al Forno is a relaxing, Takapuna restaurant, whether dining in or taking away the traditional, yet unique, Al Forno Italian food. Is a great place when catching up with friends and family. You can choose from woodfire pizzas, pastas, salads and sumptuous mains like chicken and veal parmigiana, prime eye filets or king prawns to name just a few.

Great food, great service

    fun humourous night great food and hosts Rock

      The owners welcome you in with open arms great european humour and great food.

        Al Forno has become a real local place in Takapuna. And it's easy to understand why when the food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the staff are great too. It's an easy choice when you don't feel like cooking or breaking the bank going out!

          Well worth it

            Alforno is a fantastic night out. An intimate little place, with fantastic staff and so friendly too. You feel really at home in this place and the service is quick, food portions are huge and delicious! We are frequent diners here and couldn't ask for more. The desert is a small menu but every item is amazing.

              Maria, Emilio and the crew offer fantastic food and service whether you are just tow or a table of ten. Everyone finishes with clean plates. Highly Recommended, Miles and Vicki

                A delight as usual, tried something else for a change still delicious!

                  Went to Al Forno recently for a birthday and everyone left absolutely stuffed with smiles on their face! It's a must.

                    Yummmm! pizza is delicious here! i had the margarita pizza (fresh) so yum!  i've been here several times now, really nice food! the waiting staff are super nice and helpful!  Nice location and easy to find on one of the main streets of Takapuna, right underneath the cinemas.
