Aloha Sushi Takeaways (also known as the Aloha Market Place) is a popular sushi shop which has recently relocated to a new premises on Wallis Street. The Japanese/Hawaiian themed eatery has long being popular with locals for its extensive menu of takeaway sushi.

All freshly prepared onsite, there are also various donburi and hot meals to choose from, along with Japanese and Hawaiian style snack foods.

With a couple of tables outside if if you wish to dine in, try the AMP special, a delicious combination of crumbed prawns, korroke and chicken katsu.

Aloha sushi makes a pretty decent miso soup. There's not much too choose from in Raglan, so I usually settle for something pretty simple after a day of surfing. Im usually too knackered to eat something too filling so miso soup from Aloha sushi does the trick. I try to get there by 4pm as they close pretty earlier, then I just heat up when I'm ready to have it. Easy, peasy and a good light meal option after a winter or autumn surf.

    One of the best take away options in Raglan. Delicious, freshly made sushi. Excellent menu and laid-back staff. Check out the new shop, just next to the Raglan Butchers, moments from the water - and a great sushi picnic spot!
