Service is always so wonderfully friendly... and incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. The excellent menu never fails to impress. We always bring guests from overseas here and every one of them has loved it. Great selection of wines as well. Really hard to fault the place.

This eatery is one of the few I know that has a truly local feel to it, it's a place you can go and know people from your community. Andiamo has a comfortable, relaxed and friendly vibe while still retaining a certain sophistication and serving excellent fare. To top it off, the Manager / Maitre D and head waiter are two of the best in the city. Beautiful! #shoutme

I love how upmarket yet non pretentious Andiamo is... I can relax, have a glass of champagne anytime of the day and know the food is going to be delicious! My favourite place for weekend breakfasts.

The bar at Andiamo is equally as good as the restaurant. A friend recently had birthday drinks here and I was reminded how good it is. We sat around the large table at the front of the bar and had a selection of cocktails and nibbles. The bar staff are excellent and even better we got table service so never had to leave the comfort of our seats!

It's Saturday at 9 am time to get dressed and head to Andiamo for the best breakfast in Auckland, they do a proper bloody mary, and it is by far the best start to any weekend!

Andiamo is practically perfect. The entrees are great, the mains are delicious, the desserts are fabulous. The interior isn’t particularly small, but still manages to feel quite cosy and intimate. A great place for a first date, but I’ve also gone as a group and the service is excellent either way.

Andiamo isn’t a dessert-focused restaurant, and while I’ve found that many restaurants that are great for dinner kind of slack off when it comes to dessert, Andiamo is pretty exceptional for both… and because my favourite dessert in the world is on its menu, I think it deserves a spot on this list. I’ve been several times just for drinks and dessert because the vanilla bean pannacotta with wine poached pears is absolutely perfect.
