Located in a small cluster of shops half way down Blockhouse Bay Road, Angelos Roasts is one of 2 in Auckland, the other being in Massey.

Popular with locals wanting a cheap and easy meal, they offer pork, chicken, beef, lamb, vegetarian and combination roast meals in varying sizes. You can also choose from a range of roast meat sandwiches and rolls, fried chicken snack boxes, rotisserie chickens (whole, half and quarter) and desserts.

Take a night off the cooking and treat the kids to a family combo. It may not the be healthiest option in town, but it might well be the tastiest!

They have the most tender and yummy roast lamb ever! I usually get it with gravy only. It is always cooked just right and seasoned to perfection. Yum!

    When it comes to getting bang for your buck, you can't go past Angelos Roasts in Blockhouse Bay for their $5.20 crispy chicken roll. Tucked away in Blockhouse Bay Rd near the intersection of Wolverton St and Tiverton Rd, this is a suburban hidden gem that the locals go to often. The kitchen is clean and tidy and the food is very, very good value. It's their fried chicken and potatoes that they are most well-known for. And their small roast meals are also an excellent price at just $9.

         Roast Pork, chicken, beef, or lamb, steamed veges, roast potatoes, kumara & pumpkin and yummy gravy.  All served in separate containers for you to dish as if it was your own home cooked meal. The kids love these roasts and I might add so do I. $25 for a family meal of healthy roast and they throw in a 1.5L fizzy drink. MMMmmmmmmm now I know what's for dinner tonight :D
