Aro Fish and Chip Shop is a popular takeaway situated in an old villa in the Wellington inner-city suburb of the Aro Valley. Selling what are frequently mentioned amongst Wellington's finest fish and chips, the award-winning takeaway also sells an extensive range of other fast food favourites including burgers, paua fritters, hotdogs, mussels, spring rolls and more.

If you're into thick cut chips, and pinball machines Aro fish n' ship shop is the place for you! Also worth mentioning is their proximity to Garage Project brewery. Is there any better pairing than fish n' chips and beer?

    If it wasn’t clear from the queues out the door, Aro Fish & Chips are the best in the business – cheap, cheerful and all your favourites (including deep-fried Mars Bars.) Grab a great big pile of greasy newspaper-goodness and take it across the road to Aro Park to catch the last of the sun from that grassy knoll.
