Built in 1888, the Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki is the largest art institution in New Zealand, housing a collection of more than 15,000 works. View early portraits of Maori and New Zealand landscapes alongside contemporary works and world-class touring exhibitions.
Free entry to the permanent collections lets you wonder around and get inspired any time you want. The touring international exhibitions are always worth their small entrance fee, with the added bonus of free events that are put on for each show.
