A Council leased out park thank you for such a great amenity Auckland City Council ...... Facebook your experience at the park like we have . Close to the beach and so close to the Takapuna Beach Cafe for breakfast lunch and oh no it isn't open for dinner . Takapuna Beach Holiday camp is an iconic camp right in the centre of Auckland City and not that expensive 3,890 people stayed there over the Christmas break .Not very far from the world famous in Auckland Takapuna Flea Market between them attracting almost 1,000,000 visitors to Takapuna annually . Auckland city has the best Tourism Auckland City Council is doing a great job . 400,000 people attend Takapuna flea market annually and the motor camp attracts 33,000 plus people what a wonderful city to be part of a melting pot for all cultures and the camp ground the starting point of wonderful camper van and motorhome tours of New Zealand Good one Auckland Super City thats just great .

I like the idea that the elite ,or lets say the previously thought of elite sport of canoing slalom style will now be available to professional , amatuer canoists and 40,000 school children in South Auckland when completed . I believe the philosophy of mixing professional and amateur and school children activities to gether for the benefit of all and the gain of society is a powerful change in the philosophy of the sports movement in New Zealand . Mind you I have never met a person who is an athelete and considers him or herself elite , when achieving their goals they usually tell the world how humble they are in recieving the award or what ever. The captains of the All Blacks always say how humbled they are , reflecting their back grounds from farms , suburbs , coastal towns or how ever isolated a community one may find in New Zealand ..
it would be nice if the people of auckland city and international travellers could continue to enjoy a camping holiday right in auckland city . the new zealaand motorhome association states clearly in its article about taupo recently that camper van tourists in taupo spend $400.00 per day while staying in Taupo . Please save the camp ground .
