Great :)

Well done Auckland! The choice of shops here is really awesome and such a great experience before you head on your trip. There are plenty of places to grab a quick snack as well and several stores selling water, books and magazines. Plenty of signage as well, so you can easily get to were you need too.

Super :)

The make over that Auckland Airport has had is really impressive. Finally we have an airport to be proud of.

My partner and I have been to MANY airports around the world in our few years, and we both agree that Auckland Airport in the best of them all. It's so easy to find your way around, has great shops, it's easy to access if you're picking people up/being picked up. BEST AIRPORT EVER.

Great kitchen , showers , security ,sunny , reasonably priced if booking on line $29.00 22/4/2013 . Definitely a well thought out park lot . Credit card entry an exit makes it easy . Not too busy . The morning sun strikes the site early . The camp ground is located in a park like environment amazing really when it is considered to be so close to the airport itself . Not far from the shopping centre , banks and other services . But I found that if you need anything like milk or sugar for your tea go well supplied to the camp ground . mind you that is almost relevant for most camping grounds . Bit hard to find .

Lovely review :)

Thought this was a really well looked after airport, everyone there was friendly and happy to help with anything. The area was great with food available and everything was really clean.

The site of the airport was first used as an airfield by the Auckland Aero Club. In 1928, the club leased some land from a dairy farmer to accommodate the club's three De Havilland Gypsy Moths. The club president noted at the time that the site "has many advantages of vital importance for an aerodrome and training ground.Walkera Airwolf 200SD5.It has good approaches, is well drained and is free from power lines, buildings and fogs." Prior to rebuilding, this was known as Mangere Aerodrome.

Departure lounge bubbles, the best way to fly!
