Great selection of books and some DVDs are free. Staff are friendly and knowledgable. It is a great place to get away and whittle away a few hours. The annual ANZAC display is well done every year.

Can't believe they have free DVD's in the 'Documentary' section! Which you can rent for 28 days and there are a number of great titles. Obviously a great and constantly refreshed and changing range of titles in books and magazines, as well as great service (mum accidentally 'returned' one of her own magazines and they called her and put it aside for her to pick up). Amazing that this is free for us all!

Always someone around to help you. Information is available on time if you have requested any. Kids and babies corner is excellent and lots of activities going on in the holidays.

I was a very bookish kid and I spent a lot of time at the library - both here and at it’s former home behind the old Big S (showing my age here!) The staff are really friendly, they have a great collection including DVDs and audiobooks and the best bit about the supercity is that you can now use any library card from Auckland and drop your books back to any library
