Auckland Council is a government administration which offers recreational, sporting, arts, cultural, entertainment and dining opportunities which make the city an interesting and fun place to be.
Thought I'd pop by here the other week when I was out at St Lukes. Surprised to find its a really small library. The selection of books is small, and the books don't seem to be in any particular layout order, so took me a while to figure out where some of my favourite authors might be. On the bright side at least the librarians were friendly and helpful.
Sometimes this library is painful that it's so near the mall, but other times it's quite handy. I like it for all its nooks and crannies and the fact the children's section has its own area. The magazines area is good too - separated from the rest of the library - and there's a nice little seating section that doesn't get too crowded. The A-Z fiction layout is stupidly easy to follow as it rings the outside walls, but it can be a bit of an "excuse me", "excuse me" situation when there are a few of you looking at the same time. One of my faves though.
