I went to Auckland Optometrists because I got a voucher deal, and I'd halfway expected to get kind of rushed in and out because of this but that couldn't be further from what happened. Really friendly helpful service from the front desk and the optometrist talked me through the changes in my eyesight and generally made me feel super comfortable. When I tried my glasses on in store and mentioned that it felt weird I was assured that I can come back if there are any problems, but after only 2 hours of wear it feels right and I'm noticing that my vision with the new glasses is better. I'll be back, but not for a correction to these glasses - they're perfect.
Supplied unfitted glasses. incorrectly diagnosed and prescribed a lower power which would worsen eyes. Returned glasses had scratch on them. Had to go back and forth many times. The owner was RUDE. Had no manners. Promises to refund or replacement but won't keep their word. Would not recommend this place to anyone at all. Hoping to prevent people going through the same problems I had faced. It's a matter of eyes. The most important part of the body so choose a better place and definitely DO NOT use Auckland Optometrists.
Bloody Terrible Terrible Customer Service. Get this - 1.) They prescribe me the wrong numbers for my lenses. 2.) They send me the glasses with cracks in the lenses. After repeatedly following up several times(email, phone calls - the entire nine yards), their ridiculous owner operator, (no phone manners, customer service skills or any conversation manner whatsoever) - decides it is my fault for that the lenses are damaged. The owner then decides not to apologize for the lack of service but rather decides that the customer should have done better. I'm sorry - your lowly skilled staff couldn't manage to get the right prescription and YOU decided to try and scheme your way out by sending faulty glasses (several times). Your business cannot be trusted - and I encourage others not to use their services. Better to save stress and use quality service providers.
