For delicious Thai food on a budget, you don't have to look any further than @Bangkok. Fresh, authentic curries and Thai dishes all for a steal, you'll find yourself coming back again and again.

The portions are massive, the flavours are punchy and the service is friendly. This place is almost too good to be true.

They have takeaway options as well as dine in, and the BYO license means it's a great place to go for a casual, low key dinner with friends.

It's one of those places that the locals know and love so much that they avoid telling people about it. @Bangkok is a Thai restaurant with a difference: generous portions, great prices and - most importantly - constantly tasty, authentic meals. It's our little secret!

Best best place for me I reckon I say for myself It’s just perfect Location location atmosphere n also the quality Of coz the best thing is a mate u have in life makes the best of this place

This is one of my favourite Thai places in Auckland, it's really fresh, healthy and authentic. Not greasy at all and really flavoursome. Plus it's not expensive.

Unlike most reasonably priced Thai food joints, this one won’t leave your arteries feeling tight. Everything is fresh and the satay sticks are the best I’ve tried.

Love this place. No license or byo but this will be sorted soon!

They now ate licenced and byo

Great vegetarian options, thanks guys. The spicy noodles or the chilli-basil rice are best! They do not hold back on the chilli, hurrah!

After hearing rave reviews about this place from friends, we decided to try it out. It definitely lived up to expectations. Great flavours with generous portion sizes and I couldn't believe the value-mains start at $11.50 (excluding rice), I would happily pay more as the quality of the food it top notch. Only downside is that it doesn't yet have a liquor license. Plenty of bars around Kingsland to make up for this if you're after some delicious Thai food!

We live in Kingsland and were walking home at dinner time one day. We spotted the menu outside and decided to go in last-minute. We're so glad we did! It was really good, awesome service, and it was one of the cheapest sit-down meals we've had in New Zealand. We will definitely be returning.

Sometimes, you just gotta have some Thai. A friend of mine had a leaving dinner at @Bangkok, which was suitable for the occasion as he was going to thailand the next day. We started our meal off with some appetisers, and the chicken satay skewers were amazing. Unfortunately I think the money bags were not quite right ... the inside of them had a distinctly *mushy* quality. Nevertheless, we ordered our mains and I got a lychee smoothie - which came out in a gigantic glass ! I thought i'd accidentally ordered a jug! We got a couple of whole snappers which were very good, although a little spicy for some in my group - but perfect for me. Too full for dessert, we left the restaurant happy and well fed, and vowing to come back some other time
