I have been coming to Bay Hair for many years as they really know what they’re doing and listen to what I want. They are patient and very friendly. My hair is extremely long and thick but they manage it perfectly making me look and feel good again. Thanks Sonya and Jodie especially for making us fabulous!

I went here for the first time with a voucher I had purchased online. Loved my colourist and she listened to what I wanted and made suggestions. I love my hair and hope to return for a colour and foils before my wedding. Good competitive prices especially for the quality of foils I got. Only thing I could complain about is the décor, a bit old and tired looking but would look fantastic with a makeover. There is a beautician available and my daughter was treated to a free eyebrow wax .I recommend it!!!

Good little hairdresser who is competitively priced and does a great job. I came here for a haircut after my partner suggested I try it ( she gets her colour & cut done here).  Best cut I've had.  They really do listen to what you want. I will be back.

After living in the UK for 6 years I became an fan of threading.  There it was a cheap and effective way to get beautifully shaped eyebrows. Since returning to NZ Bay Hair Design and Beauty is one of the only places I have found that does good threading, at reasonable prices and that makes sure that your eyebrows end up looking even! I have been lucky enough to be able to walk in and get the threading done every time without an appointment or a long wait.  The two ladies who I have seen have both been really friendly and both do a good job on the eyebrows. I have also had waxing (legs) done there before and had really good results too.  No hairy patches missed at all!

With hair as long as mine, a mistake could take years to fix or grow out so I am rather particular where I go for my highlights. I have been coming to Bay Hair Design for my colour  now for several years and always walk out feeling gorgeous and happy.  The prices are good and the service great.  There's also a beautician onsite for facials and waxing treatments. My children and partner all get their hair cut here and fussy as they are, we all walk out happy.
