If you're looking for a fun way to get sweating and burning some calories in the eastern bays, this is it! I LOVE my Wednesday night Body Balance class--it's a wonderful break in the middle of the week to gain some much needed stress relief with friends through a mix of yoga, pilates and tai chi. Sharon is an encouraging, helpful and knowledgeable instructor who makes the class extra enjoyable...and the best part--she never makes anyone feel silly about their level of ability, but gently pushes everyone to achieve new strength. I highly recommend finding time to come in for a free trial class. Warning though, you will be hooked!
The girls at Bays Group Fitness offer a great range of classes that motivates you to get along and get fit together. The timetable is great for busy lives and fits around school drop offs, work and family commitments. Plus a fantastic crèche onsite that my daughter has made friends at and so it's an easy way to exercise with pre-schoolers too. The instructors are very supportive and provide loads of advice to make sure you are getting the most out of your workout. And it's great fun. I’ve been going for 2+ years and love it!
