You got to love Black Estate for their perfectly made wine, amazing meals using locally sourced produce and, of course, the spectacular view of their vineyards. I love this place on a sunny day!

    Black Estate is a restaurant / cafe that you can spend hours in. With views of the rolling hills, the Canterbury plains and rows after rows of grape vines, there’s no place you’d rather be than here. This family-run restaurant is achingly cool with it’s locally sourced produce and amazing little shop.

      There is nothing better in this world than cosying up to the fire at Black Estate whilst tucking into a plate of lamb shoulder and a glass of pinot. Play with the winery’s resident kitty Bluey and enjoy the amazing Waipara scenery.

        Black Estate has it all. The views, wine, locally-sourced food, design awards and they’re a wedding venue! Catering for groups as small as 20 or as large as 200, Black Estate will help you plan the perfect day.

            The food at Black Estate is organic, free range and seasonal, so the menu changes frequently. The little serving table in the dining area is unique and perfectly simple. Family owned and run, expect excellent, warm and welcoming service. And the wine? Go try for yourself!
