This little gem is just around the corner from work and when my pockets are feeling light, I head here for lunch because I’m not sure where else in the central city you can get such a delicious, healthy meal on a budget. Bok Choy is, in fact, the definition of a seriously good cheap eat. The kitchen specialises in using fresh, seasonal produce and the meat is succulent and tasty. Their noodle boxes are usually $6.90 but if you opt for the special box of the day, it costs just $5 and it comes with FREE miso soup. What a super steal!
Bok Choy is a build your own noodle lunch eatery. Choose from udon, ramen or gluten free rice noodles then add as many vegetables as you like(there are many to choose from), your choice of meat, seafood or tofu and finally the sauce. It is all then fired in the wok and in minutes you have a meal for $5-$7 max.
