that's funny

I've always struggled to find a cafe that delicious coffee and breakfast goodies in New Lynn, but this cafe did just that. It's well located, easy to stroll down to if you're kids are up at the nearby park playing rugby, or you can stop in quickly, grab what you need, then hit the nearby skatepark, or children's playground just a little further.

At first glance this looks like any other cafe but once you step inside you realise its quite different.  Its a lot smaller inside than it looks but there's plenty of seats both in & out. The decor is opulence with a huge antique gilt mirror and gorgeous chandeliers.  The food in the cabinet looked exceptionally scrumptious with homemade pies of all kinds and a few other very edible items. We ordered an eggs benedict with bacon, balsamic mushrooms and a bacon & egg panini.  The prices were a bit more than some places ($55 total) but the meals were superb and service very good.  Add 2 cokes and the best iced coffee I've ever had in my life and it spells a great cafe.   We will definitely be back again.
