At Bonsai Restaurant you can get a range of different meals for great value for money.

The teriyaki bento is a local favourite. It includes a miso soup, salad, teryaki chicken on rice, 3 pieces of sushi, and 4-5 tempura vegetables - what a bargain for $10!

They also have a range of drinks to choose from and let you BYO!

Japanese food is really popular in Southland and a local favourite (and my favourite) is Bonsai Restaurant in Invercargill. Their chicken karaage on rice is ridiculously tasty especially mixed with their classic mayonnaise.

    For some tasty Japanese food in Southland definitely visit Bonsai Restaurant! Great for picking up some sushi for lunch and more hearty meals at dinner time.
