I like coming here for the great service and amazing food. I specifically come because I love their pizza bread drizzled with basil pesto (so crispy and delish) and the special menu item of ricotta pasta with capsicum sauce. Although more recently Ive had a vegetarian pasta which was tasty too (albeit a bit much chilli for my tastes- which aren't good with spice so that was mea culpa). I also always get a side of veges and potato if its not part of my main course too as they do these really well. The interior is very quaint and romantic too, with ivy and scattered artwork. It can be very noisy when there are a lot of people here (its necessary to book on Fri-Sat nights) but this seems to add to the charm of the interior. One of my favourites.

      Just ate at Botticelli for the first time with a friend this past week. The pizza was superb...so good I ended up taking some home! I don't live on the shore but next time I'm up I'll make a point to pop in for another piece!

        I love Italian food and Botticelli (I think) is the place to go in Takapuna for it. Its always got a good vibe, friendly staff and great food. Recommend to all
