Brett Power Drain Unblocker Ltd

Brett was amazing! It was a Sunday that he came out to fix an overflowing sewage pipe at my property. He came at short notice, was prompt and friendly. He went to work fixing the pipe and explaining exactly what the problem was and how he was repairing it. He was very reasonable and a genuine nice guy. I would recommend Brett in an instance!

My drain had blocked late on New Years night. With sewage overflowing from the drain and making a pool of waste on my drive, I desperately needed a plumber who was available at such a time. After making several calls with no luck, I called Brett. Relieved, he was able to come out within that hour. He was prompt and very friendly. He was very professional with the equipment he used and quickly found the problem. Turns out it was more than a blocked drain, the main pipeline underground needed replacing. He unblocked the drain and explained everything in plain English. He gave me a reasonable quote on what needed to be done, which was much cheaper than what a big plumbing company quoted. He returned days later, when he said he would, and did an excellent job. He even laid new cement and cleaned up after himself. Brett is the most polite and most reliable tradesman I've dealt with. I will definitely be using his services again if I should need a plumber in future.

 Brett Powers was recommended for a drain problem.  He  was polite, prompt  and did and honest job  with and honest charge rate. He had lovely manners.  As a grandmother these were important  factors for me and I would happily recommend him on.

Brett returned my call promptly (he was probably down a drain when I rang) made a time to visit the same day and was in the driveway within 30 minutes of his estimate. Brett had the drain unblocked quickly with his power equipment and checked that all the drain was free with his camera. A very efficient service.

I'd seen Brett had some good raves so I called him (blocked drain which flooded my basement flat). He was really friendly and helpful. He didn't even mind securing the dog in the house!! He turned up as promised and called as promised. He then called back and had kindly checked other drains and advised that I have a problem with another. Thanks Brett, you never know what is lurking underneath with drains around your home!! I would highly recommend this business as the service was great and I was pleased with the costs.

I rang Brett Monday morning after having had the council boys around. They told me the drainage issue was on my property, so I was on the phone and left a message for Brett. He called back within hours, and arranged to come round this afternoon - fantastic timing! He was quick, friendly, helpful and efficient. And has a flat price, so you know what you're paying. Always a handy thing. Anyway, highly recommended. And my drain is sorted, so no more nastiness to worry about.

With a name like Brett Power this drain unblocker even sounds a little like a super hero,   but when he comes and helps you out when you find yourself on the wrong end of a blocked pipe where everytime you or a group of neighbours flush it ends up in a lovely pool surrounding your house you will believe he is one!   Its hard to ever think of a better service in any field  than the one Brett gave me when the above described event happened to us.   He has a simple concept - he is not a plumber as such he wont install a new hot water cylinder but if you have a blocked drain he will unblock it for $99  -  well I sure had one so I gave him a call and an hour or so later he showed up .    He doesnt have a flash van,  or fancy uniform,   but he has a large range of tools of the trade and dutifuly got to work with his little snake thing which unblocks those drains 99/100 times.    I was impressed even at this point , he was doing a good job and not many I know would put their arm up to a shoulder down a drain to feel around.   Lucky for me - i was the other 1 out of a 100 that the snake doesnt work for and after a couple of hours and putting down like 100m of this coil,  it was still not working.      This is where I imagined my $99 would run out - after all what should be a 1/2 hour job had already taken a couple of hours with no result.    God knows what I would have done then .      But Brett is a GREAT guy who does not give up -  as he said,  he made a commitment to unblock it and unblock it he will.  So we went a a digging hunt and in the pouring rain,  surrounded by the neighbours friendly deposits,  till we could find the pipe.     In the end,  we dug half way to Africa, and found the cause.    At the join of the pipe where it meets the council, was totally blocked by roots.     The snake could never work as there was a huge box in front of it so it was just coiling away inside the box.      Without digging we could not have solved it .      This whole effort took well into the early hours of the morning under lights in the pouring rain mid winter.    Once I had literally hosed him off,  and we packed up and job was done!    I was certain for a good 6 hours of work,  I could be up for a little bit of cash here,  and really I had no choice.    But what do you know, all he wanted was his $99 as in his words some go longer some go easier it all evens out.        Now that is service.    In the end I gave him $200 which was the most he would take - I was literally begging to pay 3x or more the cost.    If that doesnt represent good service from a tradesman I dont know what does.    If you have a blocked drain,  dont muck about ,  call Brett he will sort you out , couldnt recommend higher!
