I visited this wee shop for the first time today, it was pouring down with rain so it was nice to take my time perusing the shelves. I have recently started to change my life style to a more healthy, sustainable and organic one, so wanted to check out the likes of Bulk Foods to see what they had to offer. GREAT selection and prices on spices. Great selection on grains but with pretty average prices. There are handfuls and handfuls of other specialty foods you definitely would not find at the supermarket. Its great for Organic, Vegan and Celiac options but still pretty pricey. Feel free to read a few more sentences about how I found my experience there.... allingoodcompany.co.nz
I’ve driven past this store for ages and never bothered to go in until today, which was a terrible choice because this store is awesome. There are loads of healthy, unusual food choices: chia seeds, coconut oil, quinoa, yeast flakes, dried figs, all sorts of spices and way more. Most of this was available either prepackaged or in bulk food bins. They also had a great selection of interesting canned goods, gluten-free stuff, even eco-friendly cleaning and pet products. The store was really clean, well-organised and everything was clearly labeled. I enjoyed wandering the aisles and will definitely be making this a regular grocery stop. They also have huge eco-friendly shampoo and soap dispensers… It looks like you bring your own container and buy it by the litre, which totally appeals to the hippie in me and has me pretty excited about the fact that I’m almost out of conditioner.
