Bunnings Warehouse Mt Roskill

Every time I shop at Bunnings I have a question or need some guidance and I have never been let down.  The staff here are on point.  Their specialist are full of advice and are very willing to go out of there way to help.   Walking in I had an idea but walking out I had a plan thanks to the staff.  

It's my weekend excuse for a fundraising sausage, a coffee and the playground kills a little time for the little man while Dad plans the next project...

We dropped into Bunnings last as we’d been shopping around for a few meters of plastic tubing for a water feature. (who new tubing could be so expensive!). Bunnings had the stuff we were after but were not the cheapest. We checked with a staff member who called the other place to verify the total price and immediately gave us one 15% cheaper. No fuss at all. When you’re ready to buy something for handymanning around the house or yard be sure to give Bunnings a look!

Bunnings Mt Roskill is a great place,  its everything I want a hardware shop to be,   its large,  has good parking,  has a huge range with usually multiple options of each item so you have some choice and good prices.       Its definitely the store where you go in for one thing and come out with 10 other things you never knew you needed.  If you have a hoarding addiction,  I wouldn't come here.   Also most importantly the staff are very friendly and often go out of way to help.   Case in point,   over the weekend,  I was buying some timber that wasn't really the length i needed ,  but oh well.     A guy comes over,  says hey do you know we have the same stuff at the front of the store which is clearance because of a change in supplier (and actually better) and its half price.     So then he helps me put back the stuff I had,  comes to the front of the store,   shows me the new stuff which is great and saves me hundreds of dollars.     Then he asks what lengths do you need,   I tell him,  he then takes what is there,  cuts it to exactly the length I need and brings it back to me .     Leaving the store with some off cuts and me with what I needed,  I only paid for what I took.   Not bad service at all - at all and far better than other chain stores of its type.   

Bunnings is a micro city of everything hardware for house & home.  Recenlty we were  in the market for a lawnmower so shot over to Mt Roskill to check out their range.  An hour later came out with weed eater, lightbulbs, a new plant or 3 for the garden, a hose reel, a can of CRC and some duct tape.   The staff are so very helpful and they really do have a lot of stock at great prices.
