Burger Queen is a small, classic Kiwi-style burger joint located in Mt Albert that's been wowing locals for decades with their menu of great-value burgers.

There's a huge selection to choose from, with everything from the usual beef and chicken to snapper and scotch fillet sandwiched between gourmet burger buns. Pick up a burger to take away for a meal at home or by one of the surrounding gardens, or pull up a seat by the back wall and admire the pinboard full of handwritten notes from the community.

        Very lucky to have Burger Queen just around the corner from home. Nothing slick or fancy... But what great burgers. Taste like the burgers I had as a kid ... Nice people, not expensive and they toast the buns...what more could you ask for

          There is a very polite and well mannered little lady who serves you, they have a very big selection of burgers, toasted sandwiches and sides. They are well-known for their no frills onion rings, beautiful corn balls and hearty toasted sammies! Great quality burgers to suit everybody and also very affordable.

            This is a classic kiwi burger takeaway you would definitely come back to. I went there last night and was served by a lovely little Chinese lady who won me with her ear to ear smile and manners. I even left my wallet inside and was called up half an hour later to be told it would be held for me! Great food, great service.

              It looks like one of those palces you would avoid, but don't let the exterior put you off, Burger Queen serves the best burgers i've had in NZ to date, fantastic, well priced and the staff are always real friendly
