The food is very good here, especially the duck! The portions are huge though so best is to go in a relatively big group to share the dishes, otherwise it is hard to try different dishes.

If you’re after a place that’s BYO and has awesome food, look no further! Canton can accommodate any size group, if you make a reservation, the food is delicious, and it’s centrally located. Love it.

It is hard to find a BYO that will put up with a little bit of ruckus and tipsy fun, the staff at canton are so friendly and patient and make the experience good for everyone. Being that there are two floors they tend to put groups together depending on their atmosphere which works for everyone! I came here for my brothers 21st birthday and was blown away by how good the food was and how well priced our corkage was. I recommend this as the best BYO in Auckland! Make sure to get the duck pancakes and keep in mind the dishes are for sharing!

The best sweet and sour pork!

Whenever my family and I decide to go out we always hmmm and ummm but deep down we know we’re going to end up at Canton. It’s always buzzing with families and friends for a reason- it’s the best Chinese food in Auckland. We always make an effort to order different dishes so we don’t miss any deliciousness, but the ma po tofu and bak choy in oyster sauce make their way into our meal every time.

I love the Black Chili Prawns. You get a mountain of them for 32.00.

Cheap and cheerful and super tasty!! Great place to go for BYO with a group of friends.
