Carl's Jr - St Johns/Glen Innes

Me and my wife love to try/visit new places that's why we prefer to go to Carl's Jr Glen Innes which is near our place also :)

Absolutely LOVE this place! Had my doubts after trying out Burger Fuel due to rave reviews about their 'gourmet burgers' but sorely disappointed, but am now a Carl's fan.  Bought the chicken club sandwich burger meal, and a cookies and cream milkshake for later. Order arrived in 10 mins despite the busy rush hour, and the servers were very polite and apologetic for the wait. Their condiments table had pickles, picked onions, etc as well as free soft drink refills and iced tea with sugar syrup so you could adjust your own tea sweetness.  Was impressed to see my burger was quite a decent size, with a whole chicken breast fillet, rashers of bacon, lettuce, tomato and heaps of sauce. Their fries were surprisingly delicious, due to being cooked with skin on.  My cookies and cream milkshake was made from handscooped ice cream, and is the best I've ever had!  For $9.50 for the meal, and an additional $4.50 for the large milkshake, I definitely got my money's worth and more. This is one of the few places that used whole chicken breast fillets, worthy of a gourmet burger title. Compared to an almost identical chicken burger at Burger Fuel- I'd have to pay $12.90 at BF which doesn't come with drinks or fries. 

Carl’s Jr is the fast food chain for those that are serious about their deep fried food. The Carl’s Jr devotees were out in force tonight and the joint was still hooching at around nine. I ordered the bacon, Swiss, crispy hand-breaded chicken sandwhich, upsized. If it sounds like a mouthful, that’s because it was. The chicken was succulent and the bacon was crispy. My tastebuds were over the moon but I’m not too sure how my heart felt about the meal. Defenitely tasty, but definitely one for the sometimes pile.

The ultimate takeaway joint. Fresh and so tasty. McDonalds best be running scared!

Saw this pop up as something someone had loved on localist so thought I’d give it a go and I’m glad I did! Very tasty, and i also liked that they give you mayo and not just tomato sauce! Thanks guys.

Popped in here to re fuel after a game of touch, would recommend just because you can get unlimited pickles!

For the best burgers and fries, Carl’s Junior is the only choice. Fast food chains won’t suffice after a meal here. Worth every penny, and always satisfying.
