Chow is definitely a Wellington favourite! You must go to Chow if you're in Wellington, and even better if its on a Monday because then you get 2 for 1! Chow has nailed it, the food melts in your mouth and the whole vibe is very chilled out. The waiters are always polite and efficient. The best way to enjoy Chow is with a cocktail at the neighbouring bar, 'Library' beforehand and then sit down to the 5 spice yellow curry. They don't take bookings on Mondays, so be prepared for a slight wait.
Chow is a Wellington institution. The fresh, Asian cuisine is yet to be a let down, and the bar leaves nothing to be desired! Vegan options are plenty, as are non-alcoholic cocktails for those that way inclined. The balcony overlooking the downtown foot traffic is always the perfect perch for people watching, and escaping a busy day!
