It's winter time which means cold and dark evenings - not much good for outdoor sports but great for swimming to keep up the fitness until spring time. Riverside pool is in a great location close to town and is a friendly, small pool with great staff and good facilities. They usually have one or two lanes available for swimming but there is also a good selection of aqua aerobics classes and swimming classes for children.
