Col's Cobble Shoppe

This guy is awesome, been to other shoe repairers in Auckland. But Col's uses New Zealand made parts. Repaired on time, polished and like new. Friendly and fast service that I can recommend. Very well priced. I will be going back.

I have been going to Col's for years t get shoes fixed, He is priced significantly cheaper than other repair shops in town. As is a small operation it is great to talk to Col in person about the repair needed, he often will explain the process of the repair and mention any issues that may occur. I rate him the best in town and his friendly service keeps me coming back :-)

Walking into Col's shop is like a spate of time traveling.. the smell of glue, leather, the sight of the back room through the doorway: a real  Cobbler.  Had some leather work / experimenting that needed doing and Col solved my problem in a few minutes. Agree with previous posts, a nice dry sense of humour :) Will definitely come here again when shoes need some TLC!

I love going to Col's. He hasn't changed the shop in the whole time I've been going there and he's got the driest sense of humour i've come across.

Col does wonders with shoes - he really knows how to bring them back to live or simply reinvigorate them a little bit. I've had various pairs of shoes in with Col and he is always efficient and tidy in his handywork. So glad to have him just down the road from my place, I'm always happy to leave my shoes with him knowing that they'll look good as new when I return. Col's a Dominion Road icon and it's not hard to see why he has stood the test of time!

I've been going to Col for about 12 years now, for new soles, advice, inner soles, etc. He's got a very dry sense of humour, so it's always my mission to make him laugh. He's slightly cheaper than other cobblers, and his workmanship is better as far as I can see, having been to other cobblers over the years as well.

Col is a miracle worker who's old fashioned store, checked shirt and leather apron instills a sense of craftsmanship which comes though in results. I recommend you use him for prevention and cure... my shoes last way longer when you add sole protection even the most expensive leather soles work better in Auckland's wet weather with some Col-loving. I get Col to change the heel tips on all my highest heels and he does a great job on the blokes boots too. Highly recommended.
