Creel Tackle House and Cafe is a great Summer Lunch spot - their cafe-style food at Tying Room Cafe is cooked fresh daily, the place has awesome indoor and outdoor flow and is just perfect for a relaxing lunch. Try their Chicken Pies and sweet and savoury Brioche and you’ll leave with a belley full of satisfaction.

    Not only is Creel Tackle House a great place to stay but it's also a favourite lunch-stop for the locals because out the back of the fishing shop is a cafe that does great food and has comfortable indoor and outdoor surroundings. Kids will love this different take and it's a peaceful place to admire the Tongariro River's power and beauty.
