Set up by Shampooch Palmerston North on 4 April 2012, Dogday Sunday is a fantastic initiative where dogs of all breeds and sizes can bring their owners and hang out with one another.
It happens every third Sunday and is dependant on good weather. Set all over different parks in the Manawatu, Dogday has different sessions for different sized dogs.

Socialising your dog from an early age is essential, which is why this event is awesome! Once a month the owners of a local dog groomers put on an event at local dog friendly parks where dogs from all over the Manawatu can get together, play and do doggy stuff like sniff each other! Socialised dogs are calmer dogs, go along and see how your pup likes it, if you are a doggy person you will love it too!
