Be warned that this is a Korean Chinese restaurant. There are many esp on the Shore and for those unaware of the difference, they may not find their usual takeaway favourites. Basically Korean Chinese cuisine is exactly that: Chinese styled dishes done in a Korean way, and it’s been around for decades - even before fusion cooking became the trend. But explanations aside, this is our family’s favourites restaurant of its kind - and there are a few around the Shore. They’re small, but turn up at peak dining hours and they’re usually packed full. The prices are average to very good, but the food is the main event. Some of the trademark dishes of this cuisine are done to perfection here - not overdone or underdone, not salty or bland. You can tell their chef knows his/her Korean Chinese food. Portions are generous, and the service friendly. They have daily specials and set meals/combos for small to large groups of diners. All in all, it’s our Korean family’s favourite - so perhaps it’s fair to say we know what’s good!
