We had a couple of masala dosa combos and they were huge. Got full real fast.

I love Dosa Plaza! The location is great, ample parking. Food is well priced. Service is spot on. Restaurant is clean and roomy. Well done :-)

With big signs and their slogan "the widest menu in dosas" adorning the outside of their shops, Dosa Plaza is an Indian fast food chain that hailed from, unsurprisingly, India. Everything on their menu is 100% vegetarian, with their signature dish being the dosa - a rice batter and blank lentil crepe/pancake. The store here in Botany is nice and big, with a very clean, cafetaria feel. With the high ceilings and big windows, everything is brightly lit up. We walked up to the counter and studied the menu overhead with the various choices avaliable, it is at this point the shop owner greeted us and handed over their full menu. There seems to be over a hundred different choices within the booklet, and a sense of "now we have no idea what to get for lunch now" quickly overwhelmed us. The shop owner came to the rescue and explained briefly each section of the menu, and suggested that we go for one of their lunch combo - a filled dosa with idli wada - which gives us a good taste and sample of what Dosa Plaza is all about. Seeing as we sat down just 5 minutes ago to study the very comprehensive menu, we decided to eat there instead of getting it takeaway. 15 minutes later, our order's ready and everything looked delicious. I got the Mysore Sada Dosa, which is stuffed with onions, potatoes, capsicums, tomatoes with a mint sauce, slightly spicy. My friend got the Mexi Roll Dosa - one of their "44 secret recipe" fusion dosa - which has cottage cheese with a hot garlic sauce. Accompanying them is a steamed Idli (rice and lentil soft cake), Medu Wada (Indian style donut with salty spices), a savory coconut sauce and a bowl of lentil soup. The dosas themselves have definate layers of flavour from the filling, you can definately taste the spices used, while the idli and medu wada are perfect to eat the soup and sauce with. Despite everything being 100% vegetarian, we didn't miss the meat at all and at the end of our lunch, quite full and satisfied. With such a huge menu option, we'll just have to come back again to sample what Dosa Plaza has to offer.

On a nice cruzy Sunday afternoon we thought we would go out for a drive to Botany (we live on the shore) and thought we would like to try something new and get out of our comfort zone. So going to Dosas was definately just that. We dont normally do vegeitarian places as we love our meat and chicken but I have to say that we were very pleasantly surprised by Dosas and it changed our minds about solely vegetarian meals. When we got there it wasnt very busy at all. Other than us there was only one other table there. The space that they had was huge and it seemed a bit too big for the place as like I said there were not very many people in the place. It may have been because it was just after lunch on a Beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon. However the food was very tasty and fresh. And we werec certainly happy with the service and definately felt we got our value for money. It was great trying something new and I do recommend Dosas to all vegetarians and even meat eaters. You will be quite surprise. We were for sure.

while I am not a veggie i do appreciate the tasty veggie options on offer here.   The menu is a bit complicated to follow at first but the staff helped me choose a meal I enjoyed.

I ate here recently and loved the food. I really liked their Bombay style snacks.

This place is great, the food is cheap, tasty and great quality.  It caters only for vegetarians but the food is amazing and worth every cent! I went to this place initially for its dosa's but I decided to try there Punjabi menu and was thoroughly blown away.  The food is BETTER than higher end restraunts.  The chickpea curry is one of the best I have ever tasted, and I've been to India many times.  The variety of food is insane, and the snack foods are great.  The dessert menu is lacking with only a few simple items available.  The dishes are reasonably priced for what you get, but a note for everyone look at the combos you get more bang for buck with them, such as channa bhatura.  Eating there is an ok experience its a pretty sparce restraunt space, the seats are plastic but its not bad at all.  There is also heaps of parking! I loved the food here and to me that's the most important thing.  There Punjabi dishes are some of the best I've had and I'd recommend trying it out.
