I've often purchased eco store products from the supermarket, but never been in to the store before, so I decided to swing by there today. I was really impressed with their range of products, and the store has a very cool feel to it. The best thing about the store, is the option to bring in your own bottles and refill them, for a fraction of the price - which is something I will definately be doing in the future. They also have really cool cleaning sets - with a full range of cleaning products in recycled plastic buckets - a cool, practical gift for weddings or housewarmings. They currently have 25% off cleaning products, which means the set in the photo was only $29!
I LOVE Ecostore products and have been using them for years. I trust their brand and find they are really great for my eczema-prone children. We use their body wash, shampoo and baby moisturiser for bath time, their various laundry products, and their dishwashing liquid and dishwasher powder. They are all great products and I feel safe using them. I just wish they would bring out a face moisturiser for adults! I'd definitely be using it.
I am happy to say that I discovered Eco Store Products in 1995 when I moved into the countryside in Kaukapakapa, where I raised my two children. I cottoned on to Eco Store products then, wanting a safer and healthier way of living for my family & have never looked back. I have used seeds and gardening products, body care & house hold cleaning products ever since. My favourite product would have to be the insect / mosquito repellant! My youngest daughter being very prone to bites. It really works and is non-greasy, smells devine and goes a really long way. It's also in a handy roll-on bottle which is great perfect for the kids to use. My daughter, now 15 yrs old, packs it in her bag every time she's going away. I've also bought Eco Store products for Christmas gifts which everyone really appreciates when they recieve them, and with summer here it's a wonderful and thoughtful gift idea for loved ones. So wish I'd known about Ecostore a lot sooner than I did ! The stuff you guys have is AWESOME and I just love it ! I think I've tried just about every item out in your store just to see what it is like to use and whether it would suit us or not.....so far so good - no reactions had, no itching, scratching or complaints from the family. Nice not having the chemical smells in our house anymore too which is great. Love the natural smelling ones from your store instead - e.g. lemon, pine, eucalyptus etc. So much better for us and our home - you have done a wonderful job in producing these products. Great being able to purchase in bulk and refill too - hence less packaging ! A little on the pricier side compared to supermarket stuff, but so worth the changing over to a "greener" product that is also better for the environment. Tricky getting parking, but not so bad if you shop at off-peak times !
What a wonderful store. And these days people are always conscious about what goes into the things we use. These guys are all eco friendly, meaning biodegradable and sustainable are key parts of their business. The prices are also reasonable as well, sometimes prices are high for things like the stuff they sell, but it's all good here! Also nice and convenient location.
