A lot of places claim to have the best dumplings in town, but judging by the queue out the door, Eden Noodles is certainly a strong contender for this title.
Offering dumplings, noodles and wontons along with other classic Chinese dishes, the prices are very reasonable and the place is a big hit with students and bargain hunters.
The food is Sichaun style so expect it to be a little spicier than usual for Chinese cuisine.
Regulars rave about the dan dan noodles and the hot and spicy soup.

Eden Noodles, in simple terms, is a restaurant that knows what it is doing. Lovers of spicy food will revel in this eatery, with its generous portion sizes and prices. Yet choose your level of spice carefully if you aren't iron-mouthed!

Delicious spicy dumplings that comes with a sweet and spicy sauce that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. Their spicy beef noodle is also delicious!!! Choose from mild, medium, hot and extra hot!! The price is also very reasonable :) If looking to take away, recommend to make a phone order before picking it up as they can take a while!

This place always has a queue out the door for a reason. During my first year flatting I became a regular here because of their delicious flavours, fulling meals and low prices. The portion sizes are large so there's usually enough for lunch the next day as well. Expect spice!

Very spicy dish - order mild. Noodles are beautiful.

Eden Noodles on Dominion Rd serve up stellar noodles (naturally), soups and dumplings at insanely good prices. The dan dan mian (street peddler’s noodles) is a standout dish, the name referring to how the noodles were carried in the past i.e. the street peddler carried two pots, one on each end of a bamboo pole over his shoulder - one pot filled with noodles and the other with the sauce.

Nothing better than delicious noodles in broth, or steaming dumplings - and nothing better than these things less than 30 seconds from our office! The queue for the food from this place can sometimes be out the door at lunch times - it's popular for a reason. Huge helpings of noodles, soups and dumplings available freshly cooked and at reasonable places.  The smells from here often waft up to our office and it really is a delicious place to go - especially during a cold winter lunch time!

This place was such an unexpected delight to stumble upon. Was checking out the Japanese shop around the corner, got one of those sudden "I have to eat now" attacks and spotted this narrow little noodle shop filled with asian diners. I immediately thought "ugh, dunno, the food might be a little weird.." but popped my head in the door. And good job too or I would have missed out on a fantastic little brunch experience which started with the guy at the front desk who was just terrific. I think the place is Chinese, though I had no idea at the time because everything's written in, presumably, Chinese. The front guy looked like he had to make a quick hunt for an English menu for my girlfriend and me, then became our waiter and was very helpful in our food selections. The food was incredibly cheap and incredibly tasty. And managed that line between being adventurous without being creepy, gelatinous or weird. The atmosphere was ... well, to be honest, I felt like I was on a wee holiday in an unspecified asian country for a short while. When the holiday was done, I left with a nicely full tummy, pleasantly full pockets and a new cheap, tasty brunch spot to add to my faves.

I'll admit to being slightly fuzzy when I chanced across this place on Sat. I needed something tasty and spicy with a little bit of stodge to fix me up and this place delivered. They had to fish out a special English version of the menu but I generally find that a good sign. I did worry a bit if my pesky pescatarianism would be catered for but there was plenty on the menu.  In the end we ordered veggie dumplings, hot and sour noodle soup and a 'Chinese pita with spicy veggies' to share. All for $17 and all of it pretty amazing for that price.  Although we thought we were ordering all veggie they pointed out that there was shrimp in the dumplings - so watch out for that proper veggies but good on them for spotting the veggie theme and checking. Staff were super friendly, service was fast and, as mentioned - SUPER cheap. I'll be back.
