Opened in October 2015, Elk Eatery is a cafe/restaurant located in the city fringe. Owner Prue Standen has a background in the fashion industry and has incorporated some of her ideas into the stylish decor which includes wooden feature walls and furnishings, exposed brickwork and cosy seating areas decorated with numerous colour-coordinated cushions.

Focusing on healthy foods, they offer a simple menu of breakfast and lunch dishes which can be accompanied by a choice of local wines and craft beers.

Try their delicious house made granola with coconut yoghurt and poached plums if you fancy a guilt free breakfast, or tuck into a coffee and one of their tasty slices if healthy eating is not on the radar today.
