Elles Road Dog Park exists purely because of a local community group, South Alive, who successfully proposed to the local council.

Their vision in 2013 was seeing the potential of the open space, as a place that could host dogs and their owners, where they could all run free.

So if you're in Appleby, swing by with your beloved pooch or come anyway and watch the dogs play. You never know, they might just get you to join in!
