This team have kept me looking young and funky for years. They have taken years off me. Their texture cuts for men keep us up to date! Alaina and Heidi are amazing!

ESQ is a very small, unpretentious hairdressers on Great North Rd. Louisa especially has always done a great job of my hair, listening to what I want (not what she thinks I should try) but also making suggestions that she thinks would suit my hair type. Recently, she cut my hair short for me after several hairdressers talked me out of it, saying I wouldn't suit it. I think they were just to scared to do something so drastic! The girls here will offer you a drink when you arrive, just like the more expensive places, and they have loads of up-to-date magazines to read while you have your hair done. One of the things that impresses me the most is that they never try and sell you hair products that you don't need. 

We've been coming here for four years, after a disastrous wedding haircut. Heidi is a lifesaver as we have super curly hair. So many people cannot cut curly hair so to find someone who not only is skilled but actually cares about how it will regrow, etc is something of a rarity. Affordable, knowledgeable and in your neighbourhood. Head there and have a new head back!
