Event Cinemas Albany

Event Cinema is in great location because it's inside the Westfield Albany Mall. You can go shopping while you wait for your movie. It is also near the foodcourt too.

Awesome customer service, and a very friendly bunch of people. Cinemas are always clean and tidy - by far the best cinema in Auckland.

We have been to the Albany Event Cinema Gold Class three times now. The last time we were here (12-12-12) was after they had updated the menu and the food is now sooo much better! We had a margarita pizza, Gold Class beef burger, chocolate brownie sundae and a golden crumble cocktail and we definitely recommend  everything that we ate! Although my partner said it was difficult to eat the burger and watch the movie at the same time, he still enjoyed it :)

I think it's quite a nice place. Service is good. The theatre is a good size, not too big or small. It's clean and the chairs a comfy.

Have come here on multiple occasions- very easy to find in mall, close to food court (handy). A nice entrance/ foyer area + staff at counters, friendly staff at the top of the escalators to the movie theatres. No issues yet!

Normally I prefer the smaller theaters but I saw the new Bourne recently at Event and thought it was a great place. Really slick facilities. And pretty quick service despite it being packed on a Saturday night. The theater itself was pretty standard but nice. Comfy seat and big screen. We will be going back again. Its worth the drive from Massey.

My girlfriend I wanted to see a movie in the weekend. We booked tickets online to see Taken and had the news playing in the background as we go ready....... thats when the film 3 review came on and reviewd Taken 2, giving it two stars...OH NO! So we went and saw the cinema a little early and spoke to a lady who works there and she was happy to let us swap the tickets for another film! So happy with that!

This movie theatre is always easy to access, the kiosks are so handy, especially when time is of the essence! Theatres are always clean, and staff are friendly.

Mistakenly we only ordered 4 Gold Class Tickets when we needed 6.They kindly repaid our money and allowed us to purchase 6 tickets for the mainstream cinema.
