Event Albany is really well presented and very comfortable. They offer Gold Class, where you can order meals and drinks to your comfy recliner, but even the normal theatres are pretty comfortable. It's a relatively new cinema so everything's modern, and they play a wide range of popular movies.

    Visited the gold class yesterday with my cousin at Albany Event and we were very happy with the service. The gold class is very relaxing and our food was brought to us just as the movie was starting which was very cool. Normally it would be a little expensive but going on Tuesday meant it was only $35 for both of us which I thought was a very good deal. The waiting room was also very clean and stylish and unlike other cinemas Event workers don't stand there at the end of the film almost forcing you to exit which is very good. They also have quick service at the food and beverage stands downstairs as they have many workers available. All around a cinema that  is definitely one of the best!

      The seats in the normal cinemas here are super comfy, almost like a lazy boy. Even though this is not the closest cinemas to us we always go here.

        I don't usually go to the movies much but when I do, I do enjoy going to Event Cinemas up in Albany. Its nice and big not over crowded. The seats in the theatre are cosy and comfy and its never too cold in the theatre like some are. The staff at the ticket/food counter are nice and friendly as well. I have to say I love dipping my ice cream in the popcorn too...I think its that whole salty/sweet thing. YUM

          We saw Men In Black 3.I had a beer with nuts and a delicious ice cream.Good movie,good service,good company with my son.

            Great cinema, sad that movies are so expensive these days.

              This movie theatre was perfectly clean and well set out, toliets were clean and everything was standard fare. We went at the beginning of the second week of the holidays and - maybe it was a factor - but the staff were all very abrupt and grumpy to the point of being rude. I was almost afraid to ask to buy snacks of the surly young woman who sold me the tickets! probably wont be my theatre of choice because of this.

                Good seats, well laid out entrance way, friendly helpful staff - all combine to make watching movies here very enjoyable - you can always pop out to the mall and the food court for something to eat too!

                  Great place.Very good service.Mostly clean and tidy.Had an enjoyable Sunday Morning with my daughter watching Mirror Mirror free thanks to Westfield Albany Mall and event Cinemas Albany.

                    My friend took me to chick at the flicks last week, we were greeted when we walked in with the option of bubbly or juice, sat in very comfy chairs and ate our little tub of Gu which was delicious! Was really impressed that the cinema manager came to speak to us and gave out spot prizes. Really enjoyed it and will go again soon.
