This Featherston cafe come deli is all about knocking out some of the most perfect pastries in Wellington and Wairarapa. They serve their light, pillow-pastry puffs of perfection with the very best extraction of Wellington's legendary Flight Coffee. I went for the white chocolate and raspberry brioche and it was divine. The apricot pastries also looked traditionally tasty.

    Safe to say everyone who has eaten here loves it! What I like is that some of their dishes change daily or with the season like their soups and pastas. They use the freshest local ingredients and it all tastes amazing!

      Have a delicious lunch for under $20 at Everest, a nice joint set in an historical building in the quaint town of Featherston. Sample one of the freshly made pastries or breads, sip on some great coffee or enjoy something from the extensive lunch menu. The Spanish omelette or Teriyaki chicken salad makes for a nice, light summer meal.

        A Featherston favourite, Everest has a great atmosphere, friendly staff and a mouth watering menu. While not a specifically Italian restaurant, it has some delicious Mediterranean touches to its food. The ciabatta with olive oil, dukkah and butter bean dips is a nice way to start your meal and they have a great seafood risotto with the fish of the day.
