You'd think this would be one of those hip trendy bars where all the rich n' elite go to. It is... but it's for everyone else and you don't feel out of place going there. It has a fantastic atmosphere and location, and while the service could be improved, it's a fun place to chill out in the evening.
Forget the mean tunes, bourgeois bar snacks, classic beers, clever cocktails. You can go for the decor and stay for the service; I'm fortunate to work with some of the best in the business here (although, I'm next door at the Roxy) and I think you'll agree. Perfect for a casual glass of wine and some Huff's beans - blue corn chips! - after work.
Imperial Lane is the funkiest new alley way in Auckland and as you take the spiral staircase up towards the loft area you know you are in for a treat! Everybody's is my kind of place! Stylish, sophisticated, with well-suited men and equally well-heeled ladies, this is all class. Expect to spend up large here, while sipping on some classic drinks from one of the various bars, and lounge around upstairs on the classic sofas while the chandeliers above catch your eye. This is what Auckland's been waiting for!
