The scones at Fidels are massive (think twice the size of your average cafe scone) and 100% delicious, with a sprinkle of cinnamon on the top to set them apart from others.

    My number one choice for brunch, whether I want small cabinet food, eggs or something sweet. The scones, muffins and friands are awesome, as is the range of vegetarian options, including big breakfast or waffles!

      One of the first cafes I ever visited in Wellington, Fidels remains a favorite. Keep it simple with nachos or fries to share, or suck down a massive Snickers thick shake if you dare. While I haven’t taken them up on it yet, I’ve heard only good things about the pizza and beer deal. If the weather is good, grab a seat outside at one of their picnic tables.

        I have given Fidel's a Love already, but the place needs one again. I had mushrooms and spinach this week and it was amazing, creamy and with a drizzle of sweet chili on the side is a nice touch.

          Big bowls of mocha and excellent pastries.

            Been there forever doing things the Fidel way 

              Fidels on Cuba are a haven for vegans especially in terms of baking. The blackberry, peach and chocolate muffins are amazing and animal product free. Wooo whoo!

                    I’ve just smashed out an Americano and a savoury muffin at Fidels - which in my eyes has to be simply top 5 cafe experiences within NZ - they always get the coffee right no matter who is on the coffee machine, kudos to who does the hiring. I have tried most things in the menu and some of my favourites are the nachos, Fidels feast and chicken Cajun wraps from the cabinet - cant go past a choccy milkshake too!! Amazing
