You dont realise how much you depend on appliances till they stop working. My F&P 8kg washer ( which I LOVE) filled with water but wouldnt empty. No not a blockage... just a sudden death. I was sad. So I called up F&P Service & repairs and he turned up in a flash. He tested, tuned, tipped and toiled over my beloved machine. Finally he replaced the motor and a computer board to bring my old machine back to life. Clean clothes and happy wife make for a happy life.
Fridge / freezer started "peeping" continuosly, worked out it was the freezer so turned fridge off -no I hadn't left the door open - phoned F&P and couldn't get anyone until following day, booked him. I was told there was a minimum call out fee + parts, and I needed to pay the repair man on the spot. Then thought I couldn't keep turning the fridge on and off during the night. On the phone to F&P again asked the person what I could do, he directed me to the temperature control inside the fridge told me how I could manually switch off the "peeping", which would work for 48 hours, with the fridge still working, had something I needed to do the following day so changed my repair booking to the following day seeing I had 48 hours "cover" Repair man turned up on time on the day, new fan required, fixed very quickly, didnt have to empty the freezer he just lifted the baskets out and replaced them when the job completed. He even brought a portable EFTPOS unit, so I paid by Visa to get FlyBuys, technology is amazing. Efficient friendly service.
