I have been eating Vietnamese food for a few years now and in particular Beef Soup known as Pho. Today I went to Fusion Sushi on K Road and tried their slow cooked beef Pho. It was DEVINE!!!!!! Honestly if you're a foodie do yourself a favour and try it.

Not only is the sushi great but the beef noodle soup ( pho ) is the best I have ever eaten. It is so good I'm sure it has medicinal properties. Fantastic staff. Excellent prices.

This place looks like food court sushi, not the most elegant surroundings, but damn. Always good. The choose your own sushi from under covers on the counter is phenomenal, and they’ll make anything to order, routinely gifting origami birds to accompanying little ones, and a good selection of obscure and cheerful non alcoholic beverages. I go often, whenever I’m on k Road. Even when i’m not hungry.

With so many sushi places in Auckland now, you’ve got to be on your A game to stand above the crowd, and that’s what Fusion does. Their selection of sushi is outstanding – there were options I’ve never seen before, like spicy seaweed, octopus balls, battered chicken roll. If you think sushi is just rice rolled in seaweed, you need to get to Fusion. If you’re vegetarian, you definitely won’t be bored. I just wanted to stand there and look at everything – it was like being a kid in a lolly shop. There’s an eat-in space down the back of the store, moving it away from the street and crowds at the takeout area, which is nice. Next time I think I’ll sit down. Spicy + seaweed = happy place.

Went to Fusion Sushi on a Monday lunchtime. I had seen the place several times but never had the pleasure of eating there. My companion raved about this place and was very enthusiastic about this visit. He had some high words of praise from previous experiences. The whole restaurant was clean and had a pleasant environment. It was spacious and an enjoyable place to have a quick casual lunch.

Not only do they serve the best sushi in town with the freshest of ingredients, they are the friendliest and most service-minded restaurant you’ll find in Auckland. And it won’t cost you a fortune. If you haven’t yet been, go.

Every single thing on the menu is delicious - try the restaurant's namesake, the Fusion... tempura prawn, bacon, avo, cream cheese, teriyaki chicken temura flakes, cream sauce :9 It's beautifully presented so you feel like you are treating yourself. The Hot Volcano and Ocean Dream are also amazing. This place really is an undiscovered gem, so I'm enjoying the low prices while they stay that way.... I strongly suspect that if they improved their atmosphere/decor a bit, and the right person was to visit it (a food critic, or food mag writer) who could turn the masses on to it, Fusion sushi would achieve Tanuki's Cave like status. It's that good.

Love the pineapple and cream cheese sushi. Very clean and friendly staff

Fast, clean, friendly.  The service is top notch and they make you feel at home from the minute you walk in. The wasabi offering is generous too - something that always irks me in some Sushi places - why be so tight?! The octopus balls are divine as is the deep friend prawns.  Yum all round!
