Their potatoes are amazing. You can get them as part of a yummy roast meal or on their own, or with tasty fried chicken. Good for if you can’t be bothered cooking or if you’re just craving their potatoes! They also occasionally have delicious tiramisu available

Best roast shop. I live in west auckland and sometimes make the trip. Love the meat in the roasts they trim off all the fat and the lady thats there during the day is really friendly. By far the best ive ever bought.

GG Roast make the best roast in town (in my opinion). I have to rave about their potatoes and gravy, which you can buy on a per-potato basis. Hungry on the way home from work, but don't want to spoil dinner? Grab a tub of their crispy, crunchy, soft-in-the-middle potatoes, smothered in their tasty gravy. The meat in the roasts is always top-notch. None of these great hunks of fat and grissle you flnd in some other places, however be prepared to pay a little extra for the quality. GG Roasts recently changed ownership and we were concerned that the new owners would let things slide, or perform some kind of cost-cutting exercise. However this doesn't seem to be the case. The taste is the same, the quality is the same, and the new owners are doing a great job. Roasts can be ordered in different sizes; small, medium or large. Along with meat and potatoes, there are kumara, veges and gravy too. Other menu items are also available. If you can't be bothered cooking this is definitely a great place to stop by - a tasty, reasonably healthy meal... and no washing up other than the fork!
