I’m such a big fan of Goodness Gracious’ signature blend of espresso that I’ll travel across town to pick up a brew from this awesome uptown bagel spot. The brew is full of depth but with a smooth, clean finish. I love the fact that local owner Greg is so committed to serving up the best coffee in Auckland that he’s taken the time to create a Goodness Gracious blend.

Bagels are seriously a guilty pleasure of mine, I am constantly on the hunt for the best bagel in town. When I found Goodness Gracious my search may have been over. The bagels are simply delicious. This little whole in the wall cafe does bagels and does them well! Theres a range of bagel combos available but I chose to stick with an avocado, tomato classic and was not disappointed.

Adorable little place with outdoor seating, great coffee and aaaamazing bagels!

The bagels here are amazing filled with a bounty of fresh ingredients making them great value for money. It’s a small space but the outdoor seating is perfect in summer. The staff are lovely the fit out is simple but quirky enough to make it stand out as a hip cafe

So, this is a pretty sneaky cafe. You might see the cute picket fence and not realise that you are driving past one of the best breakfast spots in Auckland. I always come here when I want to shout a friend for breakfast cause the food is deliiiicous (in-house smoked salmon? Yes please!) but also really good value! It is a small place, but I have always managed to get a seat, so I think it must be a bit magic. Good work team!

Okay, so you might wonder what on earth one of Auckland's best bagel places is doing on the Localist ed's most popular juices and smoothies list. Well that's because this blink-and-you-missed-it gem at the top of New North Rd also smashes out excellent smoothies and juices. I get the train most mornings and my idea of heaven is to make a pit-stop on the way to work at Goodness Gracious for a liquid morning pick-me-up. Their green kale creation is a full hit of folic acid and brain-boosting goodness while their delicious berry, banana and seed smoothie is exactly that - berry, berry good! They also do super smooth 'n' strong coffee just as I like it, which makes the ideal accompaniment to my morning smoothie. As I like to say, goodness gracious the food is so good at Goodness Gracious.

Just smashed a brekkie bagel and it was awesome! Love the bagels, love the coffee. Goodness Gracious is the hot place to be uptown.

If you are uptown in Auckland then this is the place to go for the best breakfast of bodacious bagels. Step inside this little hidden gem on New North Rd and it's like being transported into a bagelry in New York's Lower East Side. Like its name suggests, this great little bagel shop that could serves up delicious versions that truly make you go, "Goodness Gracious, that was good!" And if you are a bit of a yoga/health nut like me then don't miss their kale and banana green smoothie. It's so good it's like you made it at home! Oh and coffee is off the Richter Scale tasty.

Went & tried the BLAT (Bacon, Lettuce, Aioli & Tomato) - quite simply, the best bagel I've ever tasted! Highly Recommended!

Im a fan of Bagels and I've been looking for a regular affordable spot, So naturally when this place opened up i had to check it out. The menu is great because theres so many tasty options, I haven't tried them all but the pulled pork, breakfast bagel and the kranksy ones are spot on! The house made coleslaw is yum and it's great to know that it's made onsite and always seems fresh! Best of all though which surprised me is the coffee is superbly made every time. Third time i went in there the guy knew what my order was and how i liked it (double piccolo) I have finally found my regular bagelry! #cafetab
