Grand Century Chinese Restaurant is a huge restaurant in Wellington serving up traditional Chinese fare.

They are best known for their Yum Cha which consists of a variety of dishes that are steamed or fried. This includes, steamed buns, rice noodle rolls, beef, chicken, pork, prawns and vegetarian options.

The restaurant’s main room seats over 300 people but there are also two private rooms available for hire for 20 and 40 people respectively.

Not only do they do great food, dumplings in particluar. They will let you split the bill at the end which is always extremely helpful. This place is the best for large groups. Don’t forget to book as it fills out fast!

    The combination of deliciously morsels like dumplings and pork buns, washed down with lots and lots of tea makes a rough morning a million times more bearable! Don’t forget to get the sticky rice! Yum!

          Yum cha is the perfect weekend meal, you don't have to decide what to order, you just point and nod. All their dumplings are parceled perfection so you can chow on many wonderful dumpling flavours and some succulent pork belly for good measure! To finish, Grand Century have the best coconut buns in Wellington.
