I love Allpress. I love drinking and eating organiclly. How cool was it then for me to discover yesterday that one of the cafes closest to my work serves up a mean brew of organic Allpress... all presented with a gorgeous wee personalised design. This is one of the best cafes in Auckland to have coffee, sit back, relax and drink a good coffee amidst the beautiful surrounds of the park. Excited to see the awesome changes new owner Nick and his team are making to breathe new life into one of Auckland's most iconic cottages and the green space surrounding it.

    Popped in for a quick workday lunch and boy was I impressed! The food cabinet was stocked with delicious savoury and sweet treats and the menu was so delicious looking that I had trouble deciding what to order - I wanted to taste it all. I settled on a Thai noodle salad (amazing) and to top it off, ordered a flat white which was just the right amount of creamy milk and coffee. I will be back for sure.

      One of my favourite local spots because of its beautiful location in Victoria Park, Green Keeper Cafe is a hidden gem - an oasis of greenery, good food and even better coffee. It's also a huge part of Auckland's history and I'm stoked that owner Nick O'Callaghan has massive plans for the site. Pretty soon, you'll be able to play petanque, drink a beer and chill out with your work mates on a Friday afternoon while eating lots of yummy seasonal food, some of which will be grown right there on site.

        Popping into this historic cafe feels like popping into a friend's place. I love the wide floorboards and white walls - this would be a lovely place for a function, with lots of intimate spaces. I was stoked to get a big green smoothie (avo, spinach and pear) for just $6.50.

          Beautiful food in a rustic and charming environment. I tried the pansotti with hand pulled mozzarella, tomato and basil - it was amazing. You really get the sense of being fed in someone's home here, it's lovely.
