Zoos are great places for kids no matter what the season. My mates’ kids love a day trip to the zoo with their honorary aunt (me). Hamilton zoo is packed full of interactive displays for kids, and will keep them entertained for hours. Just make sure they have their gumboots and raincoats on, as it can be a bit wet over winter.

    The tigers, monkeys all make this place worth visiting.

      Great day out for the family because there's such a large range of wildlife to see and get up close and personal with. It's one of the coolest zoos we've been to.

        A nice outdoor stroll with the family (easy way to fill the day!)
