Been here several times now for different occasions. Parking is best down the side street if you can't get one behind the restaurant. The Yum char is good - the food is great, service is ok but hey, yiou don't have to talk to them if yoiu don't want to !! Just one thing to be aware of : if you go to yyum char here and want to take your time - BEWARE: they like to fit in several sittings and will hint at yiou to leave when they think your time is up ! They will start clearing your table, even if you're still eating ! Quite funny and a source of entertainment ! Dinners were nice - not for romantic dinners as it can get noisy but nice if yoiu're coming out with a group and want a nice night out - the food is pretty good - we always go for a whole fish as a treat and do seafood - the prawns are FAB !
Hees Garden has some amazing prawn dishes... aside from that they also do yumcha. This is quite a popular place on Sundays with families so make sure you book ahead. The yumcha selection is your standard fare of chicken feet, prawn dumplings, pork buns etc. Just a note that yumcha is not the best for vegetarians (we had a friend that was vegetarian and she didn’t have much to choose from).
